2024-06On June 15, 2024, the fourth walking conference of Shenyang Metropolitan Area and the sixth Shenyang International Fitness Walking Festival were grandly held in Shenyang Expo Garden. 2024-06On June 8, the College of International Education of our school organized international students from countries such as Pakistan, Nigeria, and Morocco to form the Shenyang Medical College dragon boat team. They were invited to participate in the 2024 "Han Jiang Cup" Shenyang Metropolitan Area Third Dragon Boat Invitational Tournament and the 14th Shenyang Dragon Boat Grand Prix.

2024-04On April 3 of this year, General Secretary Xi Jinping proposed the important instruction of "Planting Trees to Increase Greenery and Build a Beautiful China" when participating in the capital's voluntary tree planting activity. On April 25, as the 75th Youth Day approached, the Shenyang Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League, the Shenyang Municipal Working Committee of the CPC Municipal Organs, and the Shenyang Municipal People's Government Foreign Affairs Office jointly organized the "Youthful Shenyang, Greening the City" - 2024 Shenyang Youth Voluntary Tree Planting Activity. 2024-04On March 31, a patient with severe anemia in Shenyang was in urgent need of blood transfusion, yet the patient was a rare blood type Fya-negative individual. Given that the proportion of Fya-negative in the local population is merely approximately 0.3%, the Liaoning Provincial Blood Center has carried out dozens of difficult blood cross-matching procedures for this patient but failed to locate compatible blood. Simultaneously, upon searching the rare blood type database, no blood donors of the same type were identified. The situation is extremely critical. The patient urgently requires a blood transfusion to salvage his life. Since the proportion of Fya-negative is approximately 90% among black people and around 30% among white people, the Shenyang Central Blood Station issued an urgent appeal, hoping that colleges and universities in Shenyang can mobilize international students in China to actively participate in unpaid blood donation to rescue the patient's life.

2024-03Nine teachers from the Institute of International Education of Shenyang Medical College and 12 students from five countries including Nigeria, Pakistan, South Africa, Zimbabwe and India recently entered Fengze Community, Shashan Street, Shenyang City to participate in Lei Feng learning activities.
