University of Konstanz, Germany

On October 17,2025, Wang Fei, Director of International Programs at Konstanz University in Germany, Zhang Wei, Secretary-General of the Liaoning Education International Exchange and Cooperation Association, Chen Siyan, China Project Coordinator at Konstanz University in Germany, and Bao Wenting visited our university for an exchange. Members of the leadership team from the International Education College attended the meeting.

 At the faculty conference room of the International Education College, Dean Tian Haijun elaborated on the university's educational history, faculty strength, research capabilities, international student cultivation, and achievements in global development. He expressed his anticipation for in-depth collaboration with Konstanz University in Germany in areas such as joint education programs and collaborative research, aiming to contribute to the advancement of Sino-German educational and cultural exchanges.

Secretary Chen Guojun systematically introduced the practical experience and specific measures of our university in the management of international students. He pointed out that the university will continue to improve the training programs for international students, enhance the management and service mechanisms, and lay a solid foundation for student exchanges and cooperation with domestic and international institutions, including Konstanz University.

Director Wang Fei introduced the distinctive features, leading disciplines, and current international cooperation status of Konstanz University, and expressed the willingness to promote exchanges in areas such as collaborative education, faculty and student exchanges, and short-term academic visits.

Subsequently, both parties held in-depth discussions on specific topics including cooperative education, joint training programs, and student exchange initiatives, and reached preliminary consensus on multiple cooperation directions.

The visit by the delegation from Germany's Konstanz University has created a platform for in-depth exchanges between the two institutions, injecting fresh momentum into our university's efforts to expand international educational opportunities and deepen Sino-German educational cooperation.
