School leaders visit and comfort the staff and students on New Year's Eve

As the Year of the Monkey (2026) dawned, the world was renewed. On New Year's Eve 2026, while families gathered for the holiday, faculty and staff at Shenyang Medical University remained on duty, with some students staying on campus for the celebrations. Acting on the university's Party Committee's request, Deputy Secretary Liang Hao led a delegation from the Party and Administrative Office, Security Department, Logistics Management Office, and International Education College to visit key locations including Zhiyuan Building, East Gate Security Post, Substation, and South Campus. They extended New Year greetings and delivered gifts to frontline personnel and students, conveying the university's care and warmth to every dedicated member.

 


 

Affection for the Front Line of Logistics, Respect for the Ordinary and the Persistent

 

At 9 a.m., Liang Hao and his delegation first arrived at the lobby of Zhiyuan Building, where they warmly greeted the logistics and cleaning staff as well as cafeteria workers on duty. They inquired in detail about the staff's work arrangements and living conditions during the Spring Festival. Liang Hao emphasized that logistics support is crucial for the smooth operation of the school. The dedicated efforts of the cleaning team and the thoughtful service of the cafeteria staff have created a clean and cozy holiday environment for the faculty and students, ensuring their comfort during the festive season. He repeatedly reminded the staff to maintain their service while paying attention to keeping warm, balancing work and rest, and ensuring a safe and harmonious Spring Festival.

 


Guarding Campus Safety and Exemplifying Responsibility

 

Amid the biting cold, the security personnel at the East Gate stood in uniform, their spirits high as they diligently performed their duties to safeguard the campus. Liang Hao and his delegation engaged in individual conversations with the on-duty guards, expressing heartfelt gratitude for their dedicationsacrificing family reunions to remain steadfast on the front lines of campus security. He stressed that campus safety is the cornerstone of school development, and that vigilance must never waver during the Spring Festival. He urged the guards to maintain heightened alertness, strictly enforce campus safety protocols, and enhance access control and patrol systems to fortify the security perimeter for faculty and students. After reviewing the gate duty schedules and holiday security measures, Liang Hao extended his New Year greetings to everyone.

Ensure smooth operation and provide meticulous care

 

At 9:20 a.m., the delegation arrived at the school's substation, the "heart" of campus power supply. Maintenance crews and fleet staff were on duty, ensuring uninterrupted water, electricity, and heating during the Spring Festival while keeping emergency vehicles on standby. Liang Hao inspected the substation's operations and inquired in detail about emergency plans and duty schedules. He emphasized that reliable utilities and vehicle support are vital for campus life, stating that the staff's dedication ensures a comfortable holiday for all. He urged relevant departments to enhance logistical support, ensuring employees on duty feel the warmth of the school community.

 

Visit the Students Staying in the School and Send New Year Wishes

At 9:30 a.m., Liang Hao and his delegation visited the southern campus of Shenyang Medical University to extend holiday greetings to students staying on campus. During a warm conversation in the dormitory, Liang inquired about their vacation plans, academic progress, daily routines, and any challenges they faced. He reminded the students to prioritize safety, balance study and rest, and report any issues promptly. At the International Education College, Liang conveyed Lunar New Year wishes, hoping the students would feel the warmth of home and festive cheer at Shenyang Medical University. The students expressed gratitude for the leadership's thoughtful visit during the holiday season, noting that despite the inability to reunite with families, they had experienced a vibrant holiday atmosphere and heartfelt care from the university.
