To further enrich the extracurricular cultural life of international students and enhance their physical exercise, the Institute of International Education recently held the first cricket competition for international students. After several rounds of competition, the event successfully concluded.

The competition lasted for half a month, with a total of 4 teams from 4 grades participating. Through the round-robin format, the two teams with the highest points advanced to the finals. After intense competition, the cricket teams of the 2021 and 2020 grades stood out with their strong strength and highly collaborative team cohesion, winning the championship and runner-up of this competition respectively. At the award ceremony, the relevant person in charge of the School of International Education congratulated the winning teams, presented them with trophies and medals, and at the same time encouraged international students to actively participate in physical exercise and devote themselves to their study and life with a healthier body and a more energetic mental state, seize the day and live up to their prime years, making their study journey in China wonderful, complete and meaningful.

The holding of the first cricket competition for international students by the School of International Education is a sports activity organized based on the characteristics of the source countries of international students and in response to their activity wishes. The precise cooperation in the cricket competition not only enhanced the tacit understanding of the team, but also allowed international students from different countries and grades to establish deep friendships, showing the energetic and progressive spirit of international students at Shenyang Medical College. In the future, the Institute of International Education will build more communication platforms, enrich the extracurricular cultural life of international students, promote the physical and mental health development of international students, and contribute to actively creating the brand of "Studying in Shenyang Medical College" in the new era and continuously enhancing the social influence of our school.
